In Bruges presented by Dublin City Council Arts Office and axis, in association with access>Cinema
Date: 26th March Time: 2.30pm Tickets: €2 Members / €4 Non-Members / €3 Membership
One of the most critically beloved Irish films of recent years has been Martin McDonagh’s In Bruges. Starring Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson as two hitmen hiding out in the city of Bruges, this is a dark comedy par excellence, much in the macabre and off-kilter vein of McDonagh’s theatrical work.

This political thriller stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Djimon Hounsou and Jennifer Connelly. The title refers to blood diamonds, which are diamonds mined in African war zones and sold to finance conflicts, and thereby profit warlords and diamond companies across the world.
