Launching on the 21st March 2012 the Fingal Film Festival will host an eclectic mix of shorts and feature films, documentaries, and animation films from around the globe.

During the three-day event the festival will host a series of Master Classes. BAFTA award-winning Aisling Walsh (Song for a Raggy Boy), producer Arthur Lappin (In the Name of the Father, The Boxer), Emmy nominated film composer Joseph Conlon (Behind Enemy Lines), and international documentary filmmaker Sylvia Stevens  have all confirmed their attendance.

The remainder of the guests will be announced later this month. The festival is being held at the UCI Cinema, Blanchardstown with Master Classes and Q&A Screenings taking place at Draoícht, Blanchardstown Centre, D15. This is the first festival of its kind in Fingal and it is hoped it will soon become a central hub for filmmakers and distribution agents to meet and develop relationships. Filmmakers are encouraged to become members of the festival at www.fingalfilmfest.com for discounts and access to various events during the year.
