filmmakers

The Behind the Scenes film network, based in Limerick City, is back this autumn after its summer break. It has not only moved to a new venue but offers another exciting schedule of seminars and workshops for local filmmakers.

The first meeting will take place in the upstairs of Foleys Bar, Sarsfield St., Limerick (formally Riddlers Bar), on Monday 24th October at 7pm. Well-known local film producer Keith Bogue – http://vimeo.com/12769840 will be the speaker on the night. His talk is ‘Budget for a Short Film’, followed by a questions and answers session. With money so tight nowadays this talk is very timely. It’s a must for anyone interested in making their own film!

Behind the Scenes workshops are a perfect opportunity to meet and network with creative people and filmmakers who work in the local Film Industry. Workshops to date include networking, editing, choosing a camera and casting a film. It’s a must for anyone in the Mid-West working in or studying Film/TV/Video production.

New members are always welcome!
