Galway Film Fleadh Winners
The Guard won Best Irish Feature at the award ceremony held last night in the Town Hall, Galway to mark the end of this year’s Galway Film Fleadh. The award for Best First Feature was shared between Parked and Charlie Casanova.
The other winners were: Bernadette: Notes on a Political Journey for Best Documentary; ASAL and Even Gods for Best Short Drama; Signs for Best First Animation Award; The Boy Who Lived in a Bubble won the James Horgan Awards for Best Animation and the International Federation of Film Societies’ Don Quijote Award; Pentecost won for Best First Short Drama; Needle Exchange for Best Short Documentary; and Death Rattle won this year’s Pitching Award.
