The IFI presents a major retrospective of the film work of Cannes Palme d’Or winning filmmaker and artist Apichatpong Weerasethakul
Apichatpong ‘Joei’ Weerasethakul has become one of the most famous filmmakers in the world since winning the Palme d’Or in Cannes last year for Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives. In collaboration with the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) on the occasion of their multimedia exhibition For Tomorrow For Tonight by the artist and filmmaker, the IFI is presenting a unique chance for audiences to experience the oeuvre of this distinctively individual filmmaker and hear him in conversation on the 23rd of July.
