Galway Film Fleadh Program Announced

Highlights in new Irish cinema section include John Michael McDonagh’s ‘The Guard’, opening film Darragh Byrne’s ‘Parked’ and Paddy Jolley’s ‘The Door Ajar’. The World Cinema section includes Tran Anh Hung’s ‘Norwegian Wood’, Mary McGuckian’s ‘Man On The Train’ and Jason Eisener’s fascinating ‘Hobo With a Shotgun’ starring Rutgar Hauer.

This year’s feature documentary program includes Jeff Prosserman’s ‘Chasing Madoff’, Oscar Winner James Marsh’s ‘Project Nim’, and Keith Allen’s controversial ‘Unlawful Killing’ about a cover up after the death of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed.

Special Events include the 30-minute Film Festival and ‘An Afternoon with Martin Sheen’.
