NI writers opportunity at Galway Film Fleadh
Due to Northern Ireland Screen’s partnership with the Galway Film Fleadh, Northern Ireland writers will be offered the opportunity for a one-to-one meeting with the Fleadh’s Screenwriter in Residence Gill Dennis (Walk the Line; Return to Oz).
The two selected writers will have the opportunity to discuss their feature film treatment with Gill Dennis.
In order to apply for this opportunity entrants must meet the following essential criteria:
- Be resident for tax purposes in Northern Ireland.
- Have received a development award from Northern Ireland Screen for a feature film or television drama script.
- Have a feature film project which is ready to be pitched and its progression will be the focus of the meeting with Gill Dennis.
Applicants must submit a treatment (up to 20 pages) and logline for your project by email to Northern Ireland Screen Development Executive Ursula Devine by 5pm on 9th June 2011. The successful applicants must agree to attend the Galway Film Fleadh and will need to cover their own expenses related to attending the festival.
