BEHIND THE SCENES “How to cast a low budget film”

Behind the Scenes next meeting will now be held on Tuesday, 29th March instead of Monday, 28th March 2011, in the Absolute Hotel at 7pm.

Behind the Scenes member Maeve McGrath will explore the start of the casting process from sourcing actors, holding a casting day to arriving on set with the cast.

Maeve McGrath studied Theatre Studies in Trinity College, Dublin and is a Licentiate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She trained in Film Production and Development at GMIT and is Drama Tutor at Limerick City VEC. Maeve has worked extensively in TV, Film and Theatre and is the Artistic Director of Sidhe Theatre Company.

With an exciting programme of workshops identified for 2011 to include editing, equipment, software, lighting, sound & much more, Behind the Scenes is the perfect opportunity to meet and network with editors, creative people and filmmakers who work in the local Film Industry.
