New Roots Festival Starts today in Manorhamilton, Leitrim

Cinema North West Launch their New Roots Festival in New Line, Manorhamilton in the Leitrim Cinemobile today at 2pm with a free screening of the Swedish film Leaps and Bounds. The festival which celebrates diversity and culture in Leitrim today finishes in Carrick-on-Shannon on 20th February and all screenings are free.

Friday, 4th February, 6:30pm, Here to Stay, dir Aine O’Brien/Alan Grossman, 2006 Ireland.

Saturday, 5th February, 3pm, Kirikou and the Sorceress, dir Michael Ocelot, 1998 France.
Saturday, 5th February, 5:30pm, Le Grand Voyage, dir Ismael Ferrouki, 2004 Morooco.
Saturday, 5th February 8:00pm, The Last Temptation of Christ, dir Martin Scorcese, 1988 USA

Sunday, 6th February, 5:00pm, Kundun, dir Martin Scorcese, 1997 USA
Sunday, 6th February, 8:00pm, The Front Line, dir David Gleeson, 2006 Ireland
