'The Republic of Telly' call for entries
RTÉ’s The Republic of Telly has called for budding comedians, directors, writers and actors to send in their stand up, sketches, songs and funny video clips. Entries can be recorded on a phone, camera or even be animation; the only requirements are that clips must be viewable, funny and the creator has ownership of the content. Contestants must be over 18 to enter.
Republic of Telly on RTÉ 2 is back with Dermot Whelan on 7th March 2011. The videos will go to public vote and the favourites will be broadcast on the show’s new season.
