The Clones Film Festival’s 10th birthday celebrations begin when Paddy Goodwin and the Holy Ghosts featuring Johnny Fean of Horslips will play a special one-off gig in the Lennard Arms Hotel, Clones, on Saturday, 9pm on 12th February.
Paddy Goodwin from Clones has been playing for well over twenty years. In that time, he has shared the stage with many musicians, including Otis Rush, Shane McGowan and fellow Clones man Pat McCabe with whom he formed half of that incomparable duo The Buck Eejits. Horslips guitarist / vocalist Johnny Fean is no stranger to Clones, having played an outdoor gig at Hilton Park a few years ago as well as the Starlight Ballroom in Clones with Horslips in the ’70s. They will also be joined onstage by Clones poet / bass player Ted McCarthy. Further support to be announced.
Tickets are just €10 each and can be bought in advance by phoning the Lennard on 047-51075
