At 6:30pm on 14th December, The IFI will be hosting a special preview of upcoming new release Catfish accompanied by an interactive Skype Q &A session with Henry Joost and Arial Schulman, the filmmakers behind one what is sure to be one of the most talked about must-sees of the year.
Nev Schulman, a New York dance photographer, gets a surprise when a little girl in Michigan posts him a painting she’s copied from one of his pictures. The filmmakers then start documenting events as Nev keeps in contact by Facebook, email and phone, gradually getting to know Abby and her mother Angela, and clicking with older sister Megan to an increasingly flirtatious degree.
Catfish is released exclusively at the IFI from 17th December. Tickets are available from the IFI Box Office in person, by calling 01 679 3744, or online at www.ifi.ie
