Ireland’s Young Filmmaker Awards 2011

The Fresh Film Festival has announced its call for entries for Ireland’s Young Filmmaker Awards 2011. The Awards include Ireland’s Young Filmmaker of the year Senior & Junior, the International Young Filmmaker Award and the judges special awards.

Fresh also hosts a number of specialist awards such as the Brownbag Animation Award, the Radharc Trust Documentary Award and RTE 60 Second Short Award as well as six audience awards decided by the audiences at the competition screenings.

Fresh, founded in 1997, is a film festival specifically programmed for and by young filmmakers and audiences aged 7 – 18. It is a programme packed with screenings, events and workshops. At the heart of the festival is Ireland’s Young Filmmaker Awards and the festival runs from 28 – 31 March 2011.
