Scream Cinema Monster Mash

To celebrate Halloween, the Screen cinema becomes the Scream Cinema to host their annual ‘Halloween Monster Mash’.

With screenings of some of the most influential horror films of all time, The Exorcist, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Halloween, the Scream Cinema will celebrate the innovative films of 1970s America.

As part of their popular Screen Hearts 80s season, they’ll be screening Wes Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street, Evil Dead 2 and the horror masterpiece, The Shining – as voted by the public.

They’ll also be showing two contemporary horror films never seen on cinema screens in Ireland. The acclaimed Canadian film, Pontypool sees a virus spread through the medium of language and they will also be showing The Human Centipede.

Closing the Monster mash on October 31st will be George A. Romero, with a triple screening of his influential zombie saga Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead – win a pair of tickets to this event with our MOVIE MANIA FILM COMPETITION!!
