'TUFTY' travels to Sitges Festival

The RTÉ/Filmbase funded short, Tufty will be screened at the 43rd Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia on 11th October.

Tufty has already been shown at Clermont-Ferrand 2010, Curtocircuito 2010, the Dead by Dawn festival (Scotland’s International Horror Film Festival) and Santiago De Compostela, Spain. It has also been screened in competition at the Belfast Film Festival and Galway Film Fleadh as well as recently winning two awards at the Corona Fastnet Film Festival.

Tufty, described as ‘Apocalypto with Teddy Bears’, stars Una Kavangh and IFTA-winning actor Brendan Conroy. It was written and directed by brothers Jason Butler and Brendan Butler and produced by Dave Leahy of Warrior Films.
