MAKING THE GRADE – Color Training Workshop
Tyrell CCT in association with Apple are hosting free 1 day ’ Making The Grade’ training courses on September 22nd, 23rd and 24th, 2010. Each 1 day grading course will give established FCP editors with a limited knowledge of online and finishing techniques the opportunity to learn key techniques to improve “the look” and output quality of their programs and VTs ready for transmission.
In an ever-more quick turnaround environment and in an industry where editors are under increased pressure to understand grading, graphic design and sound, this course will offer a template of easy to follow solutions to achieve beautifully finished images on screen. Your trainer will navigate you through the essential tools in FCP and Color (with a particular focus on Color) used to correct, improve and stylize images to give a professional look and feel for a variety of productions.
The course will be complemented by “MC Color” hardware grading panels by Avid Euphonix. This will give the student a taste of accelerated work-flows using the control surfaces alongside the standard mouse and keyboard.
