During the World Cup in South Africa, the IFI will be running ‘Faraway, So Close: Film From Africa’, a series of films from across the continent.
To celebrate its success twenty years ago, Tilaï, a drama by Idrissa Ouedraogo, will be screened alongside three more recent films that have been critically acclaimed at international film festivals, Soul, Sea Point Days and Youssou N’Dour: I Bring What I Love.
This series will run in the IFI 12–15 July, visit www.ifi.ie for details.
