On Wednesday 28th April, Film Ireland and Filmbase ran a Special FX Make-up event which was covered by RTÉ’s ‘Arena’ correspondent Richard Beirne. The evening featured free special FX make-up demonstrations by Terri Pinnell and Tom McInerney, plus ‘delicious’ blood and brains recipes cooked up by Conor McMahon. There was also ingenious armour created by Ben O’Connor et al.
This event was broadcast 4th May on RTÉ Radio One and then again on ‘Playback’, Saturday 8th May.
