The first Indian Film Festival will be taking place in Dublin 25–28 June 2010. Leading director Prakash Jha will present his latest film Raajneeti to open the festival at the Swan Cinema in Rathmines. This is to be followed by a Charity Gala Dinner. Also in attendance will be the Indian Ambassador, P.S. Raghavan and Bollywood actress, Gul Panag.

Distinguished writer and Indian film academic Mr Atul Tiwari, will conduct seminar sessions, one of which will be on the topic of Slumdog Millionaire.

Film Tickets will be available for purchase at the Swan Cinema.
