'Blood'
Currently in post-production is Blood, an adaptation of screenwriter Bernadette Manton’s own script. Written and directed by Bernadette, this feature is a return to the ‘kitchen-sink’ types of drama that filled the screens of British Cinema in the 1960s.
Blood tells the story of brother and sister Guy and Carrie. Carrie (Gail Brady) has recently passed away. Following an inquest open verdict, Guy (Emmett Scanlan) awaits the arrival of his best friend Jonathan (Steve Gunn), to return from several years abroad. Before Guy can confess a terrible secret to his father (Oliver McQuillan), he must first make the same admissions to Jonathan and in doing so, hopefully gain a supportive and understanding ally.
