Writer/director Fergal Rock’s short Henry & Sunny has already screened at the Flat Lake Literary & Arts Festival and Clones Film Festival and has also screened at the We the Peoples Film Festival in London, which took place on 19th November 2009 and from 23–30 November 2009. Henry & Sunny is set in a time of unprecedented economic depression, mass unemployment and civil unrest, in which one group has borne the brunt of society’s scorn – the clowns. The film tells the bittersweet tale of Henry, an unemployed clown, in love with the famous soap opera actress, Sunny Carmichael.
