One of the most intriguing directors of the 20th Century, Joseph Losey’s career spanned both the UK and America, nearly forty films and collaborations with many of the greatest writers of the century – Harold Pinter, Bertolt Brecht, Tom Stoppard, and Tennessee Williams. The result was one of the most fascinating bodies of work in the history of the cinema including the Cannes Palme d’Or winning Accident and The Go-Between.
The season, which includes his films Accident and The Go-Between, runs throughout August and covers key selections of Losey’s prolific output to coincide with the centenary of his birth.
