QFT Hosts Cinema of Conflict Season
To mark the launch of the Northern Ireland Troubles Exhibition at Ormeau Baths Gallery, QFT will host a season of films which looks at Northern Ireland’s recent history through the eyes of some of the country’s most acclaimed writers and filmmaker. The season will take place from Friday 26th June–Thursday 2nd July and will include screenings of Bloody Sunday, Omagh and the recent award-winning Five Minutes of Heaven. There will also be a rare chance to see Neil Jordan’s directing debut Angel on the big screen as well as a talk from Martin McLoone, who recently wrote an essay for the Troubles Archive.
