Supported by the Writers Guild of America West and the Writers Guild of Canada, Scriptapalooza Television Writing Competition has seen major success in its nine years: two winning writers have won Emmys, and another winner currently writes for Comedy Central.
The four competition categories include existing one-hour shows like Boston Legal and Desperate Housewives; existing half-hour sitcoms like The Office and Two and a Half Men; original pilots and reality shows. Scriptapalooza now accepts submissions by e-mail.
Deadline for submissions is 1st October, 2008
